Sadly we leave the South Island tomorrow but we have done and seen so much, we will be back in the New Year to carry on the adventure.
It rained when we were here last June and it's raining now, but overall the winter in the South Island has been mild and dry for us. Next winter might be a different story as we will head down the East Coast and zig-zag through the middle of the South Island.
We have appointments in December and want to catch up with the kids for Christmas and New Year then we will start heading back down slower this time if Covid doesn't get in the way like this year.
