Invercargill NZMCA Park
This is our third year visiting Invercargill there is such a lot to do here.
We enjoy staying here the members that have set up this leased land have put a considerable effort into personalising it with a marine theme. So close to the city centre and the estuary behind with bird life, walking and biking tracks. The plan is to stay the maximum allowed of 10 days.
Demolition World
A rustic cute place to visit, and we spent 2 hours looking at everything. It is a gold coin donation kids would also love it.

Queens Park
The weather isn't the best with blustery winds and frequent showers. We managed to get part of Queens Park in for a revisit, and it was sheltered in there.
Afterwards dinner mid-day at Big Willies Sports Bar and Grill, reasonably priced and yummy.

Well-cared-for winter houses
The resident cat followed us around for attention
Kaka was so friendly presenting his beak to have a scatch
Good pub grub
Estuary Walkway
So spoilt having such a lovely walkway with bird life, right behind the camp.
Easy walking or bike ride
Invercargill to Bluff
Easy bike ride as long as it is not windy, over half of it is on a track beside the main road into Bluff so not very peaceful.
The estuary track that we walked yesterday is the starting point and the best part of the ride.
We stopped at the tavern in Bluff for fish and chips, which were cooked perfectly.
Golden Age / Anchorage Cafe
Nicely presented and yummy

Return
Bluff
Good hike easy until we got to the lookout, then it was uphill then downhill all the way. It is an all-weather track and well-maintained.
If you don't like the steps turn around at the lookout and return the way you came.
Very enjoyable with lots of Tuis in spring when we walked it.
