Staying a while to get all the services done on the motorhome at Weedons NZMCA.
Park House Truck Wash
Frog found this card at weedons camp, so this was our first appointment for the motorhome, after all the gravel roads.
$50 for any size less than half the price we have paid at other places and they got up and washed the solar panels and roof.
Then around the corner for a COF and new registration.
Sumner Beach
We dropped the motorhome off at Fiat for its service in the city, then went for a drive in the pouring rain to Sumner Beach.

Over the hill from Sumner beach, we found this pretty surf beach. The road up over the hill is steep and narrow.

Lovely beach but a terrible road to get here
New Brighton Beach
Today started with perfect weather, once we dropped the motorhome off at UCC Motorhomes for the annual water ingress check we drove to New Brighton beach stopping at the pier.
There are freedom camping bays along the main beach road with plenty of people taking advantage.
By the time we got here rain was coming in, and there was still snow on the ground from a cold spring snap.

Free Entry and worth a visit excellent for a wet day as it is undercover with a cafe.
Christchurch Botanic Gardens
The cafe and winter houses are great places to get out of the wind.
We need to go back on a nice day to walk the gardens.

Twisted gum
So everything is done for the motorhome home and we have been shopping at the malls.
On my bucket list are the tulip fields in Invercargill.
