Franz Josef Glacier
Our morning started off sunny by the time we had done the Glacier, Sentinel Rock and Peters Pool walks it was raining, thunder, lightning, and hailing on us. We were happy to get a nice view of the Glacier before it started, needless to say, no reflections to be seen on Peters Pool.

This morning we traveled from Franz Josef Glacier to Lake Matheson had lunch with Jacque & Robin at the cafe, then walked around the lake. Unfortunately, the cloud was down and a ripple on the lake, so not the stunning photos that would have been on a clear still day.

Gillespie's Beach Doc Camp
Park for the night (can’t use our pass at this camp) we enjoyed a campfire on the beach to end the day. It was nice to meet Vince Gardner around the fire and have a chance to admire his Bedford (Old Skool Bus)

In the morning we went for a walk to look at an old dredge from the gold mining days.
Then after lunch traveled to Lake Paringa
